Moxie Mountain Guides

Moxie Mountain Guides is a mission-driven guide service owned and operated by two women AMGA/IFMGA Mountain Guides; Sheldon Kerr and Kristin Arnold. We're located in Ridgway CO and guide in the Ouray Ice Park and on the The Ouray Via Ferrata. We also guide backcountry skiing, alpine climbing, rock climbing and expeditions all over the US and internationally.

Moxie focuses on guiding for good; instructing from empathy, building high quality private guided trips, focusing public programs on those who have been left out, and building participant skill sets rather than dragging people up peaks (though we can also do that ;)).

We believe climbing and skiing have the power to build powerful relationships, foster independence, engender confidence, and promote belonging. Through progressive pricing, partnering with affinity/advocacy groups, offering scholarships with industry support, and meeting users “where they are” (financially, physically, socially, and in skill set), Moxie gets people outside for great experiences.
