Did you know as part of the Ridgway Athletic Park Master Plan the Ouray County Baseball (OCB) nonprofit organization is launching a $3 million fundraising campaign to expand its facilities to include two new regulation-sized baseball and little league/softball fields? Currently, nearly 100 youth players and adult co-ed softball participants share just one field, limiting participation and quality of play. Funds raised will help cover grading, turf, fencing, dugouts, and other amenities included in this plan. Community members as well as friends and partners can support this campaign through valued donations; high-level sponsors receive field name opportunities among other perks.
