A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 11pm Monday to 5am Thursday that includes the NW San Juan Mountains, Telluride, and Lizard Head Pass. Heavy snow is expected with 10-18 inches of accumulation and very strong winds. Travel could be extremely difficult with blowing snow that may result in near zero visibility at times. Tuesday morning and evening commutes may be particularly challenging.

It is recommended that you avoid driving, but if you must travel, be prepared: keep a flashlight, food and water, warm clothes in your vehicle in the event of an emergency.
